La June Montgomery Tabron is president and CEO of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation (WKKF) in Battle Creek, Michigan, one of the largest private foundations in the United States. As the organization's the first woman and first African American chief executive, Tabron leads the Kellogg Foundation in its work to support thriving children, working families and equitable communities. Prior to becoming president and CEO, she served in a variety of positions during her 30-year career at the Kellogg Foundation. Currently, Tabron serves on the board of the Kellogg Company and chairs the W.K. Kellogg Foundation Trust. She also serves on a variety of boards including the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan Board, Battle Creek Community Health Partners and Bronson Healthcare Group.Tabron holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor and a master's degree in business administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. She also received an honorary doctorate of humane letters from Marygrove College in Detroit and an honorary doctorate from Union Institute & University. She is a certified public accountant and certified management accountant
