Sabrina Spitaletta

Sabrina Spitaletta is a senior director with the Center for Public Health at the Milken Institute. Spitaletta oversees the Center’s program operations for the priorities of mental health, prevention and chronic disease and health equity. She leads the Center’s efforts focused on the role of employers in prioritizing whole-person health and develops collaborations across sectors and stakeholders. Before joining the Institute, Spitaletta was head of corporate relations and engagement at Children’s Health Fund. Her responsibilities focused on building the framework for organizational strategic goal setting, cultivating thought leadership, and creating opportunities to broaden the corporate community’s awareness of the fund’s access to quality care, policy, and advocacy work for children living in under-resourced communities in the US. 


Over the course of her nearly 15 years at Sanofi US, Spitaletta held leadership roles with expanded scope in corporate affairs and human resources. The roles included overseeing corporate responsibility programs, and leading US philanthropic foundation social investments to advance prevention and comprehensive health. Additionally, she managed employee-facing efforts involving wellness engagement, employee political action and grassroots civic engagement, and organizational performance management and development. She started her career at Lehman Brothers and was a part of the Analyst Investment Banking program management and recruitment team. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology, and organizations, behavior and management from Brown University and a master’s degree in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University. She is a member of the President’s Strategic Advisory Council for the Brown University School of Public Health and HOSA’s Future Health Professionals National Advisory Council. Spitaletta also serves on the advisory council for Creating Healthier Communities, an organization focused on good health and equity to create resilient communities working with employers. She is a member of the Advisory Council for Project Healthy Minds.
