Kelly O'Brien

Kelly O’Brien, VP of Prevention at UsAgainstAlzheimer’s, leads a team promoting healthy aging and brain health. Previously, she directed The Kennedy Forum Illinois, a mental health initiative led nationally by former Congressman Patrick Kennedy. Kelly’s service history spans the public, nonprofit, and private sectors, including roles as CEO of Ideaction Corps, public health advisor to Senator Richard Durbin, Senior Legislative Aide to Congressman Kleczka, Director of Government Affairs for Partnership for Prevention, Associate Executive Director for the American Public Health Association, Congressional Liaison for the Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Executive Director of Girls on the Run Chicago, and VP of Corporate Partnerships and Marketing at United Way of Metro Chicago . Kelly holds a master’s in public administration from the George Washington School of Business and is a certified health coach, personal trainer, and meditation instructor. An avid endurance athlete, she's participated in over 100 global running, swimming, and triathlon events.
