Mariano Rojas

Mariano Rojas is a Costa Rican economist; he is professor at Universidad Internacional de La Rioja in Spain and at Mexico's Technological Institute. He is an expert in happiness economics and quality of life. He has written many books and academic papers on happiness and well-being. He coordinated the Latin American initiative on Measuring the Progress of Societies, and acted as President of the International Society for Quality-of-Life Studies. His current research focuses on identifying conditions that promote a sustainable and high well-being society.
