Yasuhiro Kubota

Yasuhiro Kubota has been the Co-CEO for Asia Pacific and Managing Executive Officer of Mizuho Bank and Mizuho Financial Group since April 2023 respectively.From April 2021 to March 2023, he was the CEO for Asia & Oceania excluding East Asia as well as Managing Executive Officer of Mizuho Bank and Mizuho Financial Group.From April 2019 to March 2021, he was the Executive Officer and General Manager for Mizuho Bank in Bangkok. Prior to that, he was a General Manager of Mizuho Bank in Mumbai from April 2016 to March 2019 and Joint General Manager of International Coordination Department and Asia & Oceania Division from April 2013 to March 2016. Mr Kubota joined Mizuho Financial Group in 1990.Mr Kubota graduated from Waseda University and received a B.A. in Law in 1990. He also holds a MBA and MSc International Finance in HEC Paris.
