Vivian Hao

Vivian joined Sun Hung Kai & Co. Limited (SEHK: 86), a leader in alternative investing headquartered in Hong Kong with $5.5bn total asset, since 2016 as a founding member of the principal investment team. She plays a pivotal role in shaping the existing Private Equity team and influence in crafting the firm's investment strategy. Vivian has an extensive financial background spanning over 18 years, encompassing business consultancy, investment banking, and asset management across private and public markets. Before her tenure at SHK, Vivian held position as the head of China TMT research at both J.P. Morgan and Deutsche Bank in Hong Kong. She also worked in venerable bulge bracket investment banks like Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse, with a particular focus on the TMT industry. She started her career with McKinsey & co in Shanghai. Vivian earned her B.A. in English from Peking University and later pursued a M.Sc. in Information Systems from the London School of Economics.
