In 2016, Nyi founded ThitsaWorks, a company focused on creating data-centric solutions that help financial organizations manage payments, handle data, and mitigate risks effectively. With a career spanning over 26 years, Nyi's expertise lies in areas such as financial inclusion, public administration, finance, fintech, and software development. Before launching ThitsaWorks, he dedicated over two decades to working at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. In his most recent role there, he served as the Chief of Information Systems for the Department for General Assembly and Conference Management. In this capacity, he led a team of IT professionals and software developers and was responsible for overseeing the development, maintenance, and support of global IT operations that facilitated UN conference operations. Nyi holds certifications in project management and enterprise architecture, as well as a Master of Public Administration degree from Columbia University and a Master of Science in Information Systems from the City University of New York. In 2019, he was named one of the Top 100 Fintech Influencers in Southeast Asia.
