Kirk Wagar is Co-Chair of Mercury LLC. He is the former United States ambassador to the Republic of Singapore. Previously, he was managing partner of Wagar Law, P.A. Wagar has served on the Export-Import Bank advisory committee and the bank's sub-Saharan Africa advisory committee. He was Florida finance chair for President Obama and a trustee of the inaugural committee in 2009 and 2013. Wagar also served as Florida finance chair for the Democratic National Committee for John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. He has been a member of the boards of the American Association for Justice, the Florida Justice Association, the National Collegiate Conference Association, Maximum Dance Company and the Miami Contemporary Dance Company. Wagar received the 2015 Gold Standard Award for Communicator of the Year by Public Affairs Asia and an honorable mention for the 2015 Department of State Sue M. Cobb Award for Exemplary Diplomatic Service. Wagar holds a B.A. from Roberts Wesleyan College and a J.D. from the University of Miami.
