Deborah is one of five founding partners of The Raine Group, an integrated merchant bank advising and investing in high growth sectors of technology, media and telecom. The firm has 9 global offices, over $3.75bn of assets under management, and has advised on over $400 bn in transactions in the past 5 years. Deborah heads Raine’s Asia practice based out of Singapore. At Raine, Deborah has advised and invested across large cap and earlier-stage video gaming, media, digital media and technology companies, including SpinX, Moonton, Universal, Warner Bros, IMAX, PPTV, Softbank and Focus Media. Deborah divides her time between Raine’s Singapore, Shanghai and Hong Kong offices. Deborah joined Raine from Morgan Stanley where she was a Managing Director in Hong Kong, heading Asia-Pacific Consumer, Retail, Gaming, and Industrial Investment Banking. There she worked for such companies as Belle, Intime, Mengniu, Anta, and Uni-President. She holds a B.A. from Cornell and an M.A. and M.B.A. from the Joseph H. Lauder Institute and The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
