Suzanne Shank is President, CEO and a co-founder of Siebert Williams Shank & Co., LLC, one of the most active underwriters of debt and equity securities for a wide range of Fortune 500 companies and debt securities for municipal issuers nationally. A 30+ year veteran of the financial services industry, Ms. Shank has positioned the firm to hold the distinction of being the top ranked minority- and women-owned investment banking firm in the country.
Ms. Shank has been recognized for her leadership in the financial services industry by Forbes, Investopedia, Crain’s New York, Black Enterprise, the Municipal forum of New York, and U.S. Banker Magazine, among others, and has won numerous awards and honors throughout her career includinginduction in the Inaugural Bond Buyer Hall of Fame which recognizes individuals who have left an indelible
legacy on municipal finance. Ms. Shank was selected by the Wharton School of Business from among 100,000 graduates as one of its “125 Influential People and Ideas” and was inducted into the Academy of Distinguished Engineering Alumni at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Ms. Shank serves on several corporate and non-profit boards. Ms. Shank formerly served on the SEC’s FIMSAC, the MSRB, and the BPC Executive Council on Infrastructure. Ms. Shank is a graduate of the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania with a MBA in Finance, and the Georgia Institute of Technology with a BS degree in Civil Engineering.
