Amy Fehir

Amy Fehir is a Senior Director of Business and Program Development at the Milken Institute. In this role, she leads the Center Advancement team, which focuses on securing and scaling support for MI's Centers and programs, including Faster Cures, the Center for Public Health, the Center for the Future of Aging, the Center for Financial Markets, the Center for Regional Economics, the Center for Strategic Philanthropy, and Feeding Change. Prior to joining the Milken Institute, Fehir served in various partnership and fundraising roles, including time spent at the United Nations Foundation, Conservation International, the National Park Service, and the World Health Organization. She continues to stay active in various organizations focused on the protection of America's public lands and environment. Fehir serves as the executive director of a national parks-focused nonprofit that provides advocacy opportunities for current and former NPS employees. Fehir has served in several positions focused on global health and international development. During her five years at the United Nations Foundation (UNF), she managed key strategic communications relationships on behalf of the organization, including partnerships with major brands, marketing partners, and individual supporters. She also cultivated partners within the entertainment industry to build the voice of UNF's campaigns and supported the work of the United Nations Creative Community Outreach Initiative. Additional professional experience includes two years overseeing environmental grants in Europe, Asia, and Africa for Conservation International as part of the Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund. In 2008, Fehir worked at the World Health Organization on World Health Day, which was focused on climate change's impact on health. Fehir received her BA in political science and public health from Boston University and an MPS in political management from George Washington University.
