Milken Institute welcomes new fellow, Zachary Karabell

LOS ANGELES, CA - The Milken Institute is pleased to announce that Zachary Karabell is the latest addition to the independent think tank′s stable of outside experts. Karabell, a new Institute Fellow, brings his expertise in analyzing complex economic and political trends to the Institute, complementing the Institute′s fulltime staff and their work to provide solutions to address a wide variety of issues in order to create global prosperity.

"The Milken Institute is known for independent analysis of events and trends that influence access to capital and the ability to create and grow jobs," said Mike Klowden, President and CEO of the Milken Institute. "Karabell′s clear understanding of an interdependent economic world is a natural fit for enhancing our analysis in a global economy."

Karabell is President of River Twice Research and is also a senior adviser for Business for Social Responsibility, which develops sustainable business strategies. He is the author of several books, including Superfusion: How China and America Became One Economy and Why the World's Prosperity Depends on It, A Visionary Nation: Four Centuries of American Dreams and What Lies Ahead, The Last Campaign: How Harry Truman Won the 1948 Election, and Peace Be Upon You: The Story of Muslim, Christian and Jewish Coexistence. Karabell sits on the board of the World Policy Institute and the New America Foundation and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Karabell will be joining other Milken Institute senior staff and many of the world′s top leaders in economics, finance, business and philanthropy at the Milken Institute Global Conference, April 26-28 in Los Angeles to discuss, debate and deliberate today′s most pressing social, political and economic challenges
