The Second Global Investors’ Symposium in Mexico City is expected to welcome over 300 CEOs, policymakers, entrepreneurs, investors, and government leaders at the event.
MEXICO (MEXICO CITY), OCTOBER 13, 2025—The Milken Institute announced today that the second Global Investors’ Symposium in Mexico City will make its return on October 22, taking place at the Four Seasons Hotel Mexico City. Building on last year’s successful inaugural Symposium, this year’s event seeks to gather an ambitious group of business leaders, global investors, and industry experts to spotlight Mexico’s growing influence in global markets and its expanding role as a hub for investment and innovation.
Under the theme Connecting Global Markets: Navigating Risk to Unlock Growth, the Symposium will highlight Mexico’s unique position as a strategic destination for capital, leveraging its natural resources, skilled workforce, and technological advances to attract global investment. Over a full day of curated programming, this year’s agenda enables attendees and speakers to engage with each other through carefully curated networking receptions, private roundtables, and public panel discussions. All public sessions will also be broadcast live on the Milken Institute’s livestream page.
The Global Investors’ Symposium will kick off with a wide-ranging fireside conversation with Michael Milken, chairman of the Milken Institute. This year’s investment-focused program agenda features a cascade of business leaders and global investors, including:
- Gautam Bhandari, global chief investment officer and managing partner, I Squared Capital
- Marcelo Ebrard, Secretary of Economy of Mexico
- Martín Escobari, co-president and head of global growth equity, General Atlantic
- Mary Ng, former Canadian minister of small business, export promotion, and international trade
- Pablo Sprenger, president, Latin America, Principal Financial Group
- Christy Walton, principal, iAlumbra
“Amidst the ongoing trade tensions and geopolitical uncertainty, Mexico’s market performance has been resilient, with equities trading near record highs. This reflects growing investor recognition of Mexico’s strategic position in global supply chains and its proximity to the US,” said Laura Deal Lacey, executive vice president of Milken Institute International. “Mexico is not immune to near-term volatility in this highly charged geopolitical environment, but its abundant natural resources, competitive workforce, and expanding manufacturing hubs make it an increasingly important destination for long-term capital. Global investors should be paying close attention to this dynamic and evolving market.”
