Rachel Tunis is an Associate at FasterCures, primarily providing research support to core programmatic areas, including financing curative therapies, ethical guidelines for digital health organizations, and helping patients better harness their health data. Prior to FasterCures, Rachel served as a Research and Marketing Assistant at the Center for Medical Technology Policy, where she assisted with research, literature reviews, and event management.
She also served as an intern at Thread, a nonprofit focused on connecting underperforming students to better networks and resources, and studied sociology at the Universite Moulay Ismael Meknes in Morocco. Rachel enjoys using social science research approaches to better understand complex problems in the biomedical research system, especially those related to health data and technology. She graduated from the College of William and Mary with a B.A. in Sociology and French.
