The consideration of ESG standards in investment decisions and asset allocation strategies has steadily increased over the last decade. Driven by greater public demand for conscientious capitalism, larger data sets and information on climate change, and increasingly sophisticated financial instruments and market incentives, financial markets are seeing greater portfolio diversification into ESG-linked investments. What additional incentives are needed to boost capital allocation to ESG-linked investments in Asia and around the world?
