Advancing Medical Solutions
For philanthropic capital to drive transformative change in the biomedical research ecosystem, it must meet the unique needs of the patient and research communities it intends to support. The Center for Strategic Philanthropy partners with philanthropists and foundations to build a deep understanding of issues across the biomedical research landscape, identify barriers, and develop giving strategies to improve care and health outcomes.
Our goal is to improve the research landscape, and advance effective treatments and cures. As biomedical research experts, we apply deep knowledge and skill to a range of disease areas--including illnesses of the brain, rare and emerging diseases, cancer and more--to reveal opportunities for donors to help move biomedical research forward. As advisors, we guide our partners toward effective giving strategies, foster new research communities, facilitate peer learning for donors, and catalyze increased collaboration throughout the research ecosystem.
