Often branded as entitled, self-involved and even lazy, the Millennial generation - more than 80 million people worldwide between 18 and 35 years old - may be the demographic cohort most prepared to lead a disrupted workforce into the digital economy. Millennials, the argument goes, are better multitaskers, more efficient collaborators, and more aware of social impact than their predecessors. Indeed, business, entertainment, media, government and philanthropy are sectors greatly influenced by Millennial leadership as it begins to dictate trends not only on social media but also in the boardroom.
