Ag Tech: Food Security as National Security

As the global population continues to grow, we will need to produce 70 percent more food by 2050. According to the World Food Programme, hunger and food insecurity can be both the cause and consequence of regional instability. How can we ensure the responsible growth of our food system without adding to concerns over growing obesity rates and environmental impact? This panel will cover the current global food security layout and discuss the new ideas, technologies, and regions that are preparing for this looming problem in innovative and scalable ways.
