Ruth Pullum is a senior associate within the Strategic Philanthropy pillar at the Milken Institute. Focusing on events at the Institute, Pullum brings extensive experience managing logistical projects and optimizing operational workflows. She leverages her expertise in event coordination, cross-functional team leadership, and operational strategy to deliver seamless, high-impact experiences for organizations and stakeholders. Pullum provides guidance to teams and partners on executing events, streamlining processes, and enhancing operational efficiency. She has coordinated events ranging from intimate VIP dinners to large conferences with more than 600 attendees, including high-profile gatherings involving domestic and international government officials. She has also developed operational strategies for hospitality and food service management, improving workflow efficiency, resource allocation, and staff performance.

Prior to her current role, Pullum held positions in event management, restaurant operations, and investment performance, building strong skills in project management, vendor relations, and technical reporting. She holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Towson University and is based in Washington, DC.
