Over the past decade, traditional power structures in media, movies, and politics have been fundamentally altered—and intentionally recast. Women over 60—often invisible in the past due to pervasive sexism and ageism—have risen to the top to lead powerful institutions in need of reform. Their leadership breaks both gender and age barriers. What needs to happen in 2019 to keep the momentum going in years to come?
