Employers have a role to play in addressing the opioid crisis by providing resources and shaping support networks for employees. They also have the opportunity to demonstrate leadership in corporate social responsibility to a broader, external audience through thought leadership, advocacy efforts, and philanthropy. This invitation-only forum is designed to help understand the role of the workplace regarding prevention and awareness—including recognizing stigmatizing language, gaining access to evidence-based awareness resources, and adopting business-led, action-oriented approaches to help stem the opioid crisis. Speakers will share best practices and explore collaborations for effective follow-up. Please note, this session will include active collaboration with Chief Executives for Corporate Purpose (CECP).
