Part 1: The Future of Education and Leadership
The future of education is beyond information overload. Any and all information is now available on the internet and on search engines such as Google. The future of education is going to be cross- disciplinary in the arts and sciences and will also include self-awareness. Self-awareness, self-reflection, awareness of the body, awareness of mental space, awareness of the web of relationships, awareness of the environment, and awareness of fundamental reality as pure consciousness will create a new generation of influencers and leaders who can become catalysts for a more peaceful, just, sustainably healthy, and joyful world.
Part 2: Technology and Security
The widening embrace of the digital economy is tied to a rapid proliferation of business models in the digital domain. Innovation and disruption remain at the forefront; however, traditional businesses are increasingly migrating to online platforms—not only for their offerings, but also for the management of their supply chains. This digital frontier exposes businesses to a raft of new threats, whether malicious or unintentional, which is why security for communications and business processes is more important than ever. And as space continues on a rapid course of adoption as the new domain for communications, it becomes all the more critical to be aware of the strengths, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities inherent in the digital economy. Both government and the private sector must be prepared to head off the latent threats—and capitalize on the likely advantages—of the coming challenges to digital security.
