Kimberly Bailey
Kimberly Bailey is a director at the Milken Institute, specializing in business development and creating tailored programs for individuals and organizations looking to make a profound impact on our world. With nearly two decades of experience in building dynamic partnerships with business leaders and cultivating meaningful relationships with high-capacity individuals across both for-profit and nonprofit sectors, she brings a wealth of diverse experience to her role.
At the Milken Institute, Bailey focuses on strategic planning and partnership development for the Strategic Philanthropy team. She collaborates with this team of experts to drive actionable and impactful solutions for the unique challenges that face each of our partners. She also plays a pivotal role in contributing thought partnerships for portfolio development, collaborating with leadership on growth opportunities, and building community engagement between our stakeholder partners and the broader Institute.
Previously, she designed and led global retail partnership divisions in the corporate retail arena and led philanthropy initiatives at national organizations, overseeing annual fundraising campaigns, direct marketing programs, legacy and major gifts solicitation, and annual gala planning. Her extensive background includes developing a nationwide training protocol for premier client care and launching giving programs for nonprofits.
Bailey holds a Bachelor of Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University and is based in Washington, DC.
