Working Jointly for Efficiency: Emerging Partnerships in the Global South

-

With geopolitics impacting global capital flows and a growing trend toward “regionalization,” diversifying supply chains and investments remains essential to ensure efficiency. The need for coordination is particularly critical in strategic sectors such as advanced technology, health, and energy. China produces vital electronic components and key products at a price few can match for the net-zero emissions transition. At the same time, Latin America, with its strategic location and the strength of its economic partnerships, emerges as a key commercial partner for Asia and the Middle East. How can the global south work in partnerships to overcome tensions, strengthen supply chains, and drive efficient growth? And key factors should investors consider in arriving at decisions related to these regions?
