For too long, millions of Americans have been financially stressed due to limited knowledge about how to create, build, and secure wealth. This entrenched problem limits access to home ownership, financial freedom, and economic stability, especially and disproportionality affecting rural and Black and Brown communities. Lack of financial fluency has ripple effects beyond the individual—impacting families, employers, and society. How best can multi-sector collaboration build on existing efforts to bring financial fluency to Americans who need it most? What breakthroughs and transformations are needed? And who is best positioned to step up to the plate?
