Infrastructure Week has come and gone. Congress has put up serious money to fix roads, rebuild bridges, connect broadband, and address other essential public projects. While the numbers are big, the reality is that the US may not fill the $10 trillion investment gap needed by 2050 without leveraging federal funding to spur innovation, drive down maintenance, enhance resilience, and engage capital for community impact. Panel members will explain how the US could meet some of the key challenges in building and scaling modern, community-led infrastructure—from obtaining permits and de-risking projects to managing finance and deploying a workforce.
