Road to Brazil: Preparing for COP30

-

The Amazon is the world’s largest intact rainforest and the lungs of our planet. As this vital resource confronts an imminent tipping point, the need for action has never been more urgent. COP30 in Belém, Brazil, presents an extraordinary and time-sensitive opportunity to convene global leaders and key stakeholders in the heart of nature to face critical environmental and social challenges head-on. With 60 percent of the Amazon under threat, collapse of the region would trigger catastrophic consequences not only within the zone but throughout the world. This session will explore the critical task of mobilizing international transition capital and public-private funding to support global climate goals.
