Preventive care is acknowledged to be a critical component of the health-care ecosystem. Early detection and management are known to save lives. However, even large investments and strategies for prevention fade when compared to investments to develop post-diagnostic treatments and cures. Primary care systems must be strengthened. This session provides a forum for international leaders in the field to discuss the economic case for preventive health care and high-impact components of health care management. Experts in health care and finance will explore how best to finance crucial interventions and attract new investment while accelerating transformative changes in the health system.
