The California Alzheimer's Prevention and Preparedness Task Force released ten big, bold ideas in November 2020, collaborating with the state's Master Plan for Aging. As the most populous state in the US, California is uniquely positioned to model a statewide approach to provide comprehensive dementia care to its citizens. Building on similar recommendations of the Milken Institute Alliance to Improve Dementia Care and AARP, this private session will convene experts from government, philanthropy, health care, and research to discuss the core elements of a standard for dementia care and develop a strategy to implement it statewide.
