Part 2: Putting Value into Health Care

-

Health care financing is a highly complex issue impacting people, systems, and societies. From rising and unsustainable costs to lack of access to high quality care to the needs of an aging population, it is time to find solutions that can lower costs and reduce fragmentation while improving health outcomes. How can we better design payments to incentivize high quality and equity? How can we ensure affordable access to new and innovative lifesaving technologies? How can we improve patient health outcomes without burdening families with excessive out-of-pocket expenses? This panel will discuss innovative, collaborative, and comprehensive opportunities to address health care financing, including the role of value-based care and public and private financing.
