Health care access is often framed around the availability of doctors, hospitals, and insurance coverage, but these factors only capture part of the story. While they are essential to a functioning health system, a broader perspective may be needed, one that considers how, when, where, and why people seek and receive care. This plenary will convene leaders to discuss how gaps and barriers can be reimagined as opportunities to make health care access more personal, preventive, and proactive.
