People are living longer than ever. Around the world, the number of centenarians is growing rapidly. By delving into the biology and psychology of aging, scientists are uncovering pathways to combat age-related illnesses and, potentially, extend our lifespan and healthspan. Although a magic pill to reverse aging eludes us, lifestyle choices like proper sleep, a healthy diet, exercise (especially weight bearing), and social interaction are key components of the fabled "fountain of youth." This session will explore new evidence regarding the best ways to extend healthy longevity and possibly reverse the aging process.
