This annual gathering of leaders at the Milken Institute Global Conference will examine policies and investments to accelerate advances in health research, public health, and delivery of care. Since the onset of the pandemic, the need for expedited biomedical innovations and the expansion in the use of technology—including telehealth services—has altered the landscapes of health and long-term care. During this off-the-record session, government officials and health leaders will address barriers to health innovation—including innovations in tech-enabled health and home care—and will discuss federal investments to drive transformation in biomedical research and health-care delivery. This dialogue will highlight public policy and private-sector solutions to scaling access to services, fostering health equity, and supporting innovation.
