Hunger for Change: Enhancing Resilience and Security in Food Systems

-

Food systems in Asia are reaching tipping points that present grounds for concern. With changes spurred by rapid economic growth and urbanization, residents of many parts of the region are experiencing undernourishment through lack of access to a healthy diet, underproductive agricultural workforces and outputs, and increasing susceptibility to global warming. In this session, food leaders, technology experts, investors, and government regulators will discuss what’s needed to restore Asia’s food systems to a more stable, accessible, and sustainable path. Improvements for discussion will range from modernizing infrastructure and integrating new digital tools along the value chain, to improving access to, and affordability of healthful, nutritious diets.
