Against a backdrop of geo-political tensions and increasing energy demand in developing economies, this session will examine how oil and gas leaders committed to net zero by 2050, major institutional investors, and climate deployment modelers can begin productive and open dialogue around the investment challenges and inflection points ahead. Key questions include short- versus long-term perspectives on oil and gas profits and peak oil, who can best invest in climate tech, and how to produce realistic deployment models for 2030, 2035 and beyond.
