The Milken Institute Public Finance Program has been asked to conduct a series of dialogues to explore the role of race and equity in bond markets. These dialogues will socialize the role that racial justice can play in the municipal bond market, with a focus on social indicators in the broader ESG context. Join us for Chatham House dialogues to help inform key questions such as (1) how municipal bond investments guided by an equity lens framework can lead to systemic change; (2) challenges and needs for investor adoption of these frameworks in order to increase capital flows to equitable community projects and outcomes; and (3) identify reporting needs and best practices around race and equity. The session will begin with an opening experts panel, followed by facilitated breakout sessions.
