Decoding Disease: Can Genetics Unlock New Interventions?

-

As we better understand the genetic architecture of the most complex human diseases, is this knowledge being productively used to produce better interventions? This panel will untangle the debates around the cutting edge in genetics research. What have been successful examples of using genetics to inform care, and where are the bottlenecks and challenges that need more attention? Is this the dawn of a new era in medicine, or will the endless possibilities of genetics-based research and treatments slow us down?
