Conquering Cancer: Innovations Closing Gaps and Improving Outcomes

-

Cancer care is undergoing a profound transformation, driven by rapid innovations that are reshaping how the disease is detected, monitored, and treated. Emerging technologies in diagnostics, including novel biomarkers, blood-based assays, AI-augmented imaging, and at-home testing, are enabling earlier detection, more precise monitoring of disease, and prediction of treatment response. At the same time, advances in precision oncology, supported by artificial intelligence, collaborative research models, and novel therapeutic tools, are helping to close longstanding gaps in access and outcomes, particularly for rare, pediatric, and complex cancers, as well as underserved communities. This session will examine how cutting-edge innovations across the care continuum can improve early detection, expand access to breakthroughs, and empower clinicians to deliver more personalized, equitable, and effective cancer care.
