The recent launch of the White House Initiative on Women’s Health and ARPA-H’s Sprint for Women’s Health have brought needed focus on this under-resourced area of health care. As more research is done on female-specific conditions such as menopause, maternal mortality, fertility, and autoimmune conditions, there is a need to ensure the connection between research findings and health-care delivery. This session will focus on best practices to translate advances in research into improved real-world outcomes for more than half of the population, including how data and technology can be used most efficiently.
