Closing the Women's Health Gap

-

The negative ramifications of poor women’s health are extensive and far-reaching, impacting not only individual lives but entire communities and healthcare systems. The conditions that affect women’s health remain significantly underfunded and understudied. Women chronically experience delays in receiving accurate diagnoses and appropriate treatments. However, the tide is turning as healthcare institutions, researchers, and nonprofit groups recognize and address these issues. This discussion will explore the efforts being undertaken to increase the focus on and funding for women’s health.
