Climate change is widely acknowledged to be among the greatest threats to our world and our way of life. The ever-growing impact on every aspect of human health is dire. Infectious disease transmission and prevalence, massive increases in cardiovascular disease and environmental respiratory issues, food insecurity and famines, and injuries and deaths due to extreme weather events all point to a pervasive and terrifying crisis. What can we, as a race, do to cope with climate change and its effects on our bodies?
