Catalytic Capital: Investing for Performance, Purpose, and Planet

Tackling today's trickiest environmental and social challenges requires more collaboration, capital, and scalable projects that can modernize markets, strengthen capacity, and build resilience. Around the world, an abundance of capital is seeking to be deployed to accelerate real-world transition and resilience, but several challenges continue to restrict investment allocation, including return expectations, complexity of measurements and metrics, and risk aversion. Only when the best ideas are funded can more people enjoy global progress. How can more capital be crowded in from both private and philanthropic allocators? What are the opportunities and challenges presented by deep structural change associated with trends such as climate change? How can capital owners, investors, and regulators work closer together to ensure their investments goes further—for both profit and beyond?
