Bridging Gaps in Global Infrastructure Financing

-

As countries worldwide continue to grow at unprecedented rates, the effects of globalization, urbanization, and climate change are having dramatic environmental, financial, and social impacts. A critical component of this growth is the infrastructure needed: from safe and reliable energy sources to bridges and roadways that can support new modes of transportation. Increased investment is required to rebuild aging infrastructure and to fund new projects, from renewable energy to smart-cities technology. Experts on this panel will review the role institutional investors should play to increase private investment while making public-sector funding more effective.
