Accelerating Place-Based Technical Assistance (Invite only)

A number of new place-based initiatives for COVID-19 recovery are funneling billions into local depository institutions, state small business credit programs, local government services, equitable economic development, and community infrastructure. But are national and local technical assistance accelerators, local government organizations, and philanthropies doing all they can to ensure that these services are well-coordinated and easily accessed for over-burdened community leaders? In this session, cross-sectoral acceleration leaders will discuss potential strategic interventions, turf-cutting, and shared services collaborations to scale up the community success stories we all want and for the effective deployment of federal funding. This event is co-hosted by Accelerator for America, Lincoln Institute for Land Policy, The International Economic Development Council, and the Milken Institute.
