Press Release
Milken Institute holds London Summit

Meeting Brings Together Leaders From The Region – And The World

On October 12-13, the Milken Institute will bring together CEOs, major investors, philanthropists and other leaders from around the world for its fifth annual London Summit. Like the Institute’s annual Global Conference – but on a more intimate scale – these leaders will focus on some of the world’s most pressing challenges. Panel topics include Europe’s refugee dilemma, creating an enabling environment for growth in Africa, harnessing big data to cure disease, and the future of finance.

“We are delighted to return to London, bringing with us the Milken Institute’s unique ability to convene leaders, and to extend our work addressing the core issues of access to capital, improving health, and spurring job creation,” said Institute CEO and President Mike Klowden. “The range and complexity of the world’s challenges are unprecedented. At the Milken Institute London Summit, we expect our speakers and participants will generate ideas that lead to solutions.”

Held at the Grand Connaught Rooms in Covent Garden, the London Summit is an invitation-only event but is open to registered media. Press may apply at http://www.cvent.com/events/2015-milken-institute-london-summit/event-summary-5c17495f071b4c34a03ddf2ba22f5549.aspx and use code MEDIA-LS2015-MED.
